What causes the angulation mechanism (tip bending) to become stiff or unresponsive?

Answer: Stiffness or loss of angulation is usually caused by tension issues in the control wires, debris buildup inside the steering mechanism, or a bent insertion tube. Do not force the control levers, as this can snap the internal wires. The scope needs professional mechanical alignment and wire replacement.
